I drive nights. This light up coaster makes finding my cup holder with my Thermos Tumbler &/or my water bottle a breeze during the Dark Hours.
It’s tough if you don’t have red lights in the cab, & you find yourself in a long construction zone where you don’t really have the ability to focus in cab to put down your drink in its Holder. A easy little “Level up” for a Night Owl who drinks quite a bit

These coasters are very nice. They're a thick, smooth plastic with dark mirrored circle prints on the top.They are one sided, that is to say that there is an intended bottom as no light shines on that side.The lights are bright and have a nice, clean, and vibrant 8 color array.In bright light they come on when an object covers the light sensor.In the dark they come on when they detect motion.I find this feature to be most useful. I bought them because I have a black desk and at night it's hard to find my coasters. With these I can lightly tap my desk and they light up. It's perfect.They are a bit smaller than a typical coaster so I can't use them for larger coffee mugs or large sports bottles but they are perfect for typical sized cups, 20oz sports bottles, medium sized travel mugs and soda cans.There are 17 settings:Solid on state for 10 seconds for each of 8 colorsBreathing type state (gentle fade in and out) for each of 8 colorsRainbow cycleThe only thing stopping me from rating 5 stars is that for one thing, these are intended to go in car cup holders. I would suggest against that for 2 reasons: the motion sensitivity is really high and they are bright so they would be constantly on in a moving vehicle at night. The other reason is that the charging port is exposed on the side. If a cup sweats it will surely run over the side, pool in the cupholder and get in to the port and probably ruin it.The other thing is that one of them, after a while, will stop working. I can get it to come back on just by plugging it in for a split second. It's not that the battery is dying, it just seems to need a kick in the pants to get working again.All in all, if you're an LED junky, or just want something different to put your drink on, I would definitely recommend these. They're pretty cool.

I bought this as a gift for my grandchildren and my son. They all thought that they were cool and couldn't wait to try them. As expected they enjoyed the cool lights for the cup holders and are enjoying them to this day. Just enough light so you can put your bottle of water or cup into the holder without having to fumble around to find it. Plus it adds a dimension of cool to the car interior.

Works great so far. Charge it then set it up in a dark room. Choose your color, put in cup holder. Only works in the evening hours.Wait till it’s dark, When car is started the tiny bit of Vibration turns them on. Works from vibration or when u put a bottle in cup holder covering the sensor will ensure that the cup holder will stay lit. it will light up and stay on till you shut the car then they will go off. Depending on how much night driving you do will determine when you should recharge them. Generally for me every 2 weeks. Really nice and you can’t beat the price.

They're great so far they're not super bright but that's good I don't need to be super bright they're bright enough to let you know that they're there and you can see the cup holder fine and they go great with the rest of the interior lighting so far I've only had to charge them up once and that was about a week ago we'll see how long they last
